The Sportsman 007

This is a bit of an oddity

It’s a single action, double barrel 32 ga shotgun.

Barrels are 8 inches long.

These are still quite popular in Argentina, South America, as general purpose, hunting/foraging/denfense guns.

Mostly common around country folk and farm owners both for defense and small game hunting.

For self defense, the principle is similar to the "Lupara", the Italian sawed off shotgun.
You get just too shots, but you have:
1)Good stopping power, specially a very gruesome wound.
2) You have mechanism redundancy and operational simplicity.

Also, the shotshells are small so as to carry several in a pocket, and it’s very effective at killing birds within a shot range.

Not a full scale shotgun, but still an effective and reliable firearm.

Enjoy.
